Reservations and Payment

 

Your reservation and payments can be made either to your travel agent or direct with Britain by Choice Inc.  A non refundable deposit of $250 per person OR 10% (whichever is the higher) is required within 7 days of confirmation of acceptance of the offer.  A higher deposit or interim payment may be required for certain services.  Full payment of the vacation is required 60 days prior to departure from the United States.  Reservations within 60 days of departure must be fully prepaid within 7 days of confirmation.  Non-receipt of any balances may result in arrangements being canceled and applicable cancellation charges may prevail.  Vouchers and travel documentation will normally be shipped, by UPS, 14 days prior to departure.

Change Fee, Cancellation and Refunds

 

Reservation changes made after a booking has been confirmed and accepted will incur a charge of $50.00 for each alteration. Full cancellation for whatever reason may incur the following charges:

  1. Over 60 days prior to departure – loss of deposit

  2. At 28 – 59 days prior to departure – 25% of total cost

  3. At 3 – 27 days prior to departure – 75% of total cost

  4. Less than 3 days prior to departure – 100% forfeited

Travel Insurance

 

Britain by Choice strongly recommends that all vacationers traveling outside the United States purchase appropriate Travel Insurance from their travel professional or with Britain by Choice through Travelex Insurance.

Responsibility

 

Britain by Choice and/or their agents and offices and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with any itinerary shall act only as the agents for the passenger in making the arrangements for accommodation, transportation, restaurants or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to persons or property due to any act of negligence of or default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant company, or person rendering any of the services included in the itinerary, or by any Act of God.  Further, no responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government or authority.

The right is reserved to withdraw any program offered and/or make any changes in the program as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tour(s).  The prices of tours are based on rates in effect (including foreign exchange rates) at the time of quotation and are subject to change without notice, prior to receipt of the deposit payment.
